Born In Our Hearts | Adoption and Foster Care Ministry

Born In Our Hearts is an adoption and foster care ministry embraced by RiverTree Christian Church. This ministry is open to anyone, whether a part of the RiverTree family or not, who has already adopted, is considering adoption or is in the process of adoption or foster care.

There are many benefits to being part of Born In Our Hearts:

Social gatherings for fun and fellowship
Opportunities for the children to play together and learn that being adopted is a great thing
Prayer support in times of need or celebration
Mutual support
Information and resource sharing

Through partnerships that RiverTree also has with Christian Children’s Home International and the Pregnancy Support Center of Stark County, Born In Our Hearts also has access to a myriad of additional professional resources.

Because there are nearly always families who are welcoming God’s children into our hearts and lives, Born In Our Hearts is a ministry constantly in a state of celebration.

Yet during times of pain, frustration, or disappointment, friends are there for one another to understand and listen.

Currently, our families have adopted from within the USA as well as from Peru, Ukraine, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Romania, Vietnam, Philippines, Haiti and Guatemala. And 2004, Born In Our Hearts has entered into a partnership with ChildReach Ministries which provides the children of this world the basic necessities of life.

Born In Our Hearts has been the only faith-based organization to win national and state adoption excellence awards for demonstrating dedication to Ohio’s children needing permanent families.
